Re: need location of fuel filter on 1994 cadillac deville
Don't know where it is on your car but if you follow the main fuel line (the fattest metal line) from the fuel tank to the engine you will find it somewhere in that line. To replace it you will need a special tool available at most parts houses. PS: your car is NOT 4.9hp...I have a lawnmower that is 5hp!!! 4.9 is the displacement)

around 200 mils ( 1/2 pint)
put the oil in and keep checking with the dip stick or if no dip stick , to the top of the filler plug hole
could be more or less depending on the make of engine ( not specified)
Nobody knows, because not even engines from the same make can produce a different power output. When you have different motors all with 452 cc, the output power can differ a factor 10.
There is no resemblance between horsepower and CC. You can calculate HP to Watt, and vice versa.
Yes, but it would depends on what type of engine you have and it would not be street legal is you did add that much horsepower.----------------------------------------------------------------- Godiag T300+
RAC horsepower, is "taxable horsepower" Basically all you have to find out is the horsepower of the 1991 toyota corolla with the same motor. Which I believe(not knowing what exact motor) is 102 HP Good luck
A dual-overhead-cam 4-cylinder engine powered base Probes in 1993,
developing 115 horsepower. The GT coupe held a 164-horsepower V6, also
of dual-overhead-cam configuration. Both engines are Mazda designs. No
more turbocharged engines were available. A 5-speed manual transmission
was standard; 4-speed overdrive automatic optional. Except for a slight
horsepower/torque boost in 1995 for the 4-cylinder engine, and a mild V6
torque increase the year before, powertrains saw no change in this
This might not help you much but I believe that prior to 1961, it produced just 94 horsepower from its 230 cubic inch of displacement. After 1961, horsepower just increase to 114 so displacement must not have changed much.
the difference between the 2 is this, if youre looking for serious power with an engine that has been made perfromance stable(built to handle the difference in compression ratios and ability to take more rpms), either will do. if this more of bolt on performance then for a stock motor, then a turbo is good because of the power it generates without robbing the motor of horsepower to create the new horsepower(1 step back to get 3 forward). a supercharger on a "built" motor is definately more impressive due to appearance. they both do the same job. they are air pumps. nothing more. the trick is how they achieve it. cheers
If you want total horsepower get a turbo kit to put in there. You know there is plenty of room and overall nothing will stand close to putting power into that motor. I suggest a full rebuild before you do. Camshaft and roller rockers and such will see a minimal gain that it wont even be worth it. Better off finding a 401 or something to put in if you want real power.
OK katesquad14, what's going on with your spark plugs? So I have a few questions, 1. year of Jeep 2. what motor (6cylinder, 8cylinder) 3. what exactly is the problem. The more info the better chance of an accurate solution, so how about more than 2 words?countrycurt0
