Question about 1999 Chevrolet Blazer
I have been having troubles with my 99 Chevy Blazer for about the past 3 months. I just recently had it worked on by a chevy dealer. the security system fried the wires to transmission and fuse box. Now that I have it back a month later it wont start again. IT doesnt make the sound that the starter is even workin at all...It starts when it wants to. The only thing I can hear when I try to turn it over is the fuel pump turning on.
Personally, I would return it to the dealer and state that is still not fixed.
When the remote start / security system was removed or disconnected, the starter circuit would have had to be rewired as the remote start / security system prevents the starter from engaging.
The wire splicing that would have had to take place may still be a problem.
If you would rather diagnose this problem your self I will be happy to help.
Let me know.
