From what i read , that is a lot of oil burning , possible causes are :
cylinder head not machined
cylinder head not torqued properly
valve guide seals missing or severly worn
piston rings broken or severley worn
head gasket improper installed or not there at all
cracked cylinder head
no i would not drive it , other problems will be created
do you think maybe they just tried liquid head gasket repair ?
that does not work .

I have a 93 Mazda .mx3 4 cylinder 5speed with white smoke from exhaust how do I check where it's coming from to cause the white smoke its minor on idol but when gas pedal pressed there is more visible...

White smoke from the exhaust may be an indication that coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber. This could be caused by a faulty cylinder head gasket, a cracked or warped heat or cracked block. Check the coolant level, and check to see if the oil dip stick has a milky look.

Why is my 95 buick lasabre blowing white grayish smoke from the tailpipe?

Sounds like you have a blown head gasket, or bad rings in the cylinders.

The car is not driving, blowing white smoke, and shaking very bad? So what should do

white smoke (alot) usually means water/antifreeze getting into firing chamber- head gasket(most likely) or a cracked head/block (less likely)- check oil dipstick- if oil is "milky" definite leak somewhere

I havea daewoo nubira and we replaced the valve cover gasket yesterday , did an oik change and now the engine is smoking white smoke. Try to check to hoses, could not see a leak. Where is the cylinder...

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

The cylinder head is located on the center of the engine. Yes it can be a worn out head gasket or piston rings. If the piston rings are worn out the oil is burnt that's why it emits white smoke. You will need to replace the head gasket and piston rings.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

My 93 maxima got no power an smoke started to come out the tail end.

The best test is a compression test.
Blue smoke means it's burning oil, due to worn out piston rings.
White smoke means it's mixing antifreeze and oil due to a bad head gasket or cracked head or block.

White smoke cuming out tailpipe 3400 v6

I would almost bet you have a blown head gasket or a cracked head. White smoke at the exhaust, loosing coolant, moisture on the underside of the oil fill cap, and on the dip stick are all signs of a blown gasket. The fact that there is no coolant in the oil does not mean it does not have a blown gasket. To find out for sure remove all spark plugs, disconnect the coil wire, and then run a compression test on all cylinders. If you find one or more with low compression you have a blown gasket. Do not drive this car any longer until you get this repaired. Serious engine damage will occur if you continue to drive it.

The car got hot we pulled off to side of road and filled with water and havent been able to get it started did a compression test on it and it failed my husband is thinking blown head gasket any other food...

If it failed the compression test then in would either be the head gasket (like your husband said) or it could have a cracked head. Which would be caused by the car getting too hot. Check the antifreeze to see if it has oil in it. And check the oil to see if it has antifreeze bubbles on the dip stick. If either have it then it is a blown head gasket. Good luck.

White smoke from motor

Checking oil when it's HOT with mask the coolant oil mix formation.
Check the oil when the engine is COLD. If it has creamy/milkshake like oil in the engine crack case then it's a real bad sign.
Check the oil cap when it's COLD. Like for the creamy/milkshake non-oil like cream.
Are you loosing coolant?
Keep a log book on the coolant lost.
Does it over heat or does it the engine ran hotter compare to few months ago?

To pin point a blowing headgasket you will need
1)coolant system compression tester
2)chemical reaction test for combustion test gas
If it's the org. engine from 1986,with over 86,000 then blown headgasket is a good possiblity.
Tow it to the shop and let the pro to do the coolant pressure test and combustion gas test.
A full head gasket job with head re-surface (if it can be re-use) is worth it.
Shop around on well estiblished independent shops.
Fix the blown head gasket at the first stage of failure can safe you thousand on a head replacement.

My truck blows white smoke

There are two differnt reasons for black and white smoke coming from the tail pipe.
Black smoke means fuel runs rich (car getting to much gas). Check fuel pressure/air filter.
In some cases the white smoke means car is burning oil or transmittion fluid. Have tem checked/replaced.
If you can feel a smelly smoke it can be catalytic converter.
In a worsest scenario if car blowing white smoke it can be engine coolant is getting into an engine cylinder from a bad head gasket ,or a warped/cracked head. So you need to keep your eye on coolant level and check your engine for overheat. Also might be good to check your oil for traces of coolant (on a dipstick it would be a milky substance mixture of oil and coolant).
Good Luck
