Spider type fuel delivery inside upper intake known to leak , and with repeated attempts to start , fuel gets into wherever gravity will allow , be sure to drain fuel soaked oil before attempt to start after repair and because fuel is in the exhaust , it might blow the muffler and melt the catalytic converter

Yep, my 93 had the same problem when I bought it a few months ago, didn't take long for the engine to give up. Not saying it was the sole cause but it sure contributed to an early demise of that motor. I couldn't believe how expensive this little plastic contraption cost me, over $300 bucks! ouch. Hopefully this new Jasper engine will last a lot longer.

How do I remove and re install the CPI unit and gaskets on a 1998 Chevy Blazer with Vortec V6

You have to reove the upper plenum. that is the part on top of the intake that looks like a dome on top of the lower intake. There is 8 10mm bolts around the outside of the dome part. the disconnect the fuel lines at back of lower intake and remove the cpi unit.

Had a 94 Olds Bravada that did a similar thing and it was EGR valve on the front of the intake. It' s easy to take off and clean with WD 40 and if you have an air compressor blow it out good.

1993 S-10 Blazer has erratic idle and stalls

Check the tps "trottle positioning sensor, on mine the idle would not stay steady, and shift so hard that it would sound like it was going to break something. it is located on the drivers side of the throttle body with a push in electrical connector.

Know if my 95 chevy blazer has a spider CPI?

A spider injector is located underneath the intake plenum and this is multi-port. Otherwise you have a throttle body injector system. Vortec engines have spider injectors and they are super expensive to replace ($400.00- 850.00) each ! There is only one spider injector for each engine it has 6 legs/fuel tubes that go to each cylinder.

Gas in the oil

first try the evapertator cansister valve is open and aloowing to much fuel in the engine, also the fuel injector could be leaking and pushing to much fuel intothe intake, this will wash out the cylinders and put gas in the oil, two things can case this a bad injector or a defective fuel regulator in the injector.

I have Chevy s-10 4.3 vortec, replace tank fuel

I'd put more fuel in it and see what happens. But I'm going to guess that you are having a problem with your injector. These cpi systems are notorisous(<spelling?) for problems.
