Hopefully there is fuel in the tank. Also listen to see if you can hear the pump kick on when you turn the key on. If you have fuel in the tank and you can hear the pump running put a fuel pressure guage on it to see if you are getting pressure. If you are getting pressure check to make sure the injectors are working.
sometimes , when a battery goe's down, and you replace them, or jump start them, the computer has to reset itself and it will take a few minutes to do this, but afterwards, it should be fine, if you still have the problem, check for trouble codes.
When the fuel pump ever been done does it sputter and kick like ******* like pump cloged Spray out the trottle with some throttle spray when last time on tune up try tune up first plugs wires spray out the trottle
my 99 jeep wrangler has the same problem when I had it looked at they told me its a chrysler problem and there is nothing wrong and there is a short under the dash I had them reset the warning light for an emissions test but the light came back on in a few days. It was not worth the expense to try and find the short
