Question about Nissan Pulsar
1988 pulsar q manual sedan starts and idles but when you try to accelarate it just dies and stops . try to restart and it takes a minute or so then starts and the same situation applies
I need more info. Do you have any check engine lights on? If you do. You probably can pull some kind of code off using specific techniques usually in a service manual this might help (using blinking check engine light). If not then i have to ask when last tune up was this includes plugs and i am going to stress plug wires as well, cap, rotor, fuel filter. ignition timing? If you cannot recall any of these i would sugggest doing all of them. you can do all this yourself in under 2 hours. I am really stressing plug wires because it sounds like you are not getting good spark. Or you might not getting the fuel when needed (full throttle) which leans toward a filter. I would do all of these things including ignition timing. Might not be a bad idea to check on your timing belt and see if it is in good condition and didnt jump some teeth. I dont know if this car uses a chain or not. If it does use a chain then disregard the timing belt/chain. I hope some info here helps and good luck.
