Is the feul pump insert hole the same in a 1985 mustang gt as a 1993 jeep wrangler

Just use the pump that is already in the jeep. Just make sure you use a fuel pressure regulator set to 42-48 PSI

Had automatic transmission fluid changed and now my 2003 jeeep liberty will not shift correctly. Still in shop they do not know what to do

have them reset cvi's. (clutch volume indexes) need a scan tool to complete. if they changed the filter need to make sure filter and gasket are properly seated in the valve body.

You may have lost a ground, blew the coilover, or blew a sensor. Probably the crank position sensor.

Remove feul pump on a 97 polo

I don't have specific info on the Polo, but in the Golfs of that era I think there was a plastic retaining ring than unscrewed, after which the pump / sender unit was a bayonet fitting that came out after turning it anticlockwise a bit.
Remove the filler cap first to depressurise the system, don't get the hoses mixed up and be sure to disconnect the battery - you'll be opening the petrol tank !

Hope this helps, but a Haynes or Bentley manual will often repay the purchase price after only one job.
Cheers, D.

Feul pump replacement on 97 polo

Hi, I don't think you can, but it would be worth checking the connections to the gauge in case they are dirty or corroded.
Hope this helps, D
