Question about 1983 Toyota Corolla Tercel
Daughter has an 1983 Toyota Tercel with carburetion problems. Bought it for her for $250 a year ago with 83000 miles, one owner. My mechanic says compression is fine but these carburetors are notorious for malfunction and replacements can come up with same problem very quickly. Car stalls and won't start at times or runs rough apparently due to overly rich mixture. Is it worth it
I would say try replacing the pcv valve and fuel filters if new carbs do the same thing iwould say cut your losses
