Hello!
You can use any brand starting from regular (87) to super or premium (93) depending on your budget. Lower octane gives you usually lower gas milage and can cause problems with engine starting in winter. So for winter time and better gas milage use medium grade.
Good Luck

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

What engines will interchange with mine>

this depends on what transmission you have , as you can install just near anything ford makes from a 1.9 L 4 cyl ( I don't recommend that !! ) all the way up to what I had a few years back , a five liter v8 with direct port fuel injection ( I do recommend that !!) , there's a few folks out there that make kits to install most anything in these versatile trucks ,Im disappointed they discontinued making them

the problems occur nowadays not with getting the different parts to work together , but now the state motor vehicle laws make it super hard to do engine swaps to larger engines (they make more pollution )

most any of the 6 cyl engines that ford makes will work just fine with the transmission it came with from the 2.9 Liter to the 4.9 liter will fit with few little mods, but you will need to change the engine control computer to follow the engine you have chosen
