Does a husky boy 50cc have a reed valve? Bike won't crank.. I took carb apart and cleaned jets and carb. Replaced plug checked to make sure it was firing.. Pulled out plug and stuck my finger over the...

Cranking is something that the engine does BEFORE it starts. I think you mean that it wont start. If it does not have a starter motor then the cranking issue is a non issue. So with that much gas you are flooding it out and it wont start. You need to make sure that the carb is reassembled correctly.

After motor warms it misses and backfires

You need to test the catalytic converter, these were a common problem. You can do this by removing the oxygen sensor in front of the cat and driving it. It will be noisy, but the open hole will allow excessive back pressure to escape and it will drive better if the exhaust is restricted.

Cranks but wont start

Did you check the coil?
It's a $45 to $46 item any more and your getting ripped off.
It's behind the dis-cap .
You need to remove the whole distributer and unscrew it from the bottom 4 phillip head screws hold it in not a big deal! Just remember to put the distributer back the same way it went in and DON'T CRANK THE ENGINE WITH THE DISTRIBER OUT!!! I like to take a picture of the distuber with the cap off before I remove it so I will remiber how it was before I took it out and I can put it back in the same way. Also mark the flang of the distuber and the engine block with a marker so you won't mess up the timing.Take your time not a big deal and don't pay ths silly internet site the $ for the solition!!!!!
