If the center rollers are worn out on the sliding door it will cause the door to bind and jump. Since it is all one piece, you have to replace the center hinge. I had the same problem. There are also rollers at the top and bottom of the door but these seem to last longer then the center ones.

2004 town country manual sliding door wires do what?

get a voltage meter and test them to see if they are running power. They may be wires that are used for a more advanced model with more add-ons that you don't have in your model.

My power sliding door doesn't open fully. It makes clicking sound and a somewhat of a jerking motion. It open or closes slighty but the entire it makes the above mentioned noises. Any help would be...

I'm not sure about the noise, but the jerking motion might be because your the center roller (located in the rear middle of the sliding door) has worn out and need to be replace. This is a will known problem.

Your problem is very hard to answer because 05-10 odyssey has so many problem with sliding door.

rear latch:
-door not to latch close
-door not to work

front latch:
-door not to open

lock actuator:
-door not to open
-door will pop when opening

window motor:
-window not to work
-door will only open half way

center roller:
-jerking motion when opening
-door kick back close while opening
-door kick back open while closing

Door motor:
-door not to work
-cause door to jam

good luck

98 Eldo intermitent driver window. Window will operate down but not up. Bought new motor, same problem. Switch tests good. Window sometimes worked while wiggling wiring harness. Now, will not operate in up...

You are sure the switch is good, the common problem is the contacts get brunt and also the wiring going through the door to dash break from the opening and closing of the door, if you remove the rubber boot thats located at front of the door where the hinges are there is where the wires or a wire breaks, slide rubber back and look closely at the wires,

Sliding door fails to latch

There is no "switch". The Sliding Doors should be manual anytime you try to open or close them. If not: then there is problem in the electronic system or the physical/mechanical side where something is jamming the door from opening or closing.

Sliding door won't close/latch

First you need to determine if the issue is a door sliding issue or a door latching issue. These are 2 separate problems.
If the car/van was in an accident-take it to the bodyman.
If the railing is dirty or has a nail, penny, etc in the way this would also cause problems.
If the latch is already closed on the door lick it can't engage since it is already 'latched'.
Isolate the problem - try again! TJ

Removal of rear door panel to change power window motor

I have not seen any schematics for retainer clip locations. With the proper trim removal tool, slide it between door and door panel about an inch and slide it along until it stops. That will be the retainer. Use the tool to pop the retainer out of the door. Continue all the way from one side to the bottom and up the other side, then push the top of the panel in and up to release from the door.

I have a sicna 03 sliding door on passenger side

DO NOT PUSH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. turn off the power button for the power sliding doors located on the lower dash area.
(in for on out for off)
2. close the sliding doors
3. disconect the battery and wait 1 minute.
4. reconect the battery, turn on the power switch
5. use one of the door control buttons open and close the door this should reset the door.

If this fails to get it working i'm sorry but you will need to take it to a dealer.
and most likly it will need a new drive $3000 aproxmatly. it can not be serviced

Powerwindow

Take the door panel off. There is a plastic clip on the window channel that holds the glass in place to raise and lower it. If you broke it you will need to replace the part. If the glass jumped off channel just stick it back on.
