SOURCE: Locate 2003 Chevy trailblazer crankshaft position

The Crankshaft position sensor is located on the left rear of the engine block below the starter. it has an oval connector and is held in place by one bolt. See picture of sensor below (some models has a 45 degree connector, most are straight like the one pictured below.

Under intake manifold on top of block,you need to remove intake to access sensors there are two of them you can't miss them when intake is off. After replacing sensors you need a new intake gasket.

It mounts in the side of the block near the crankshaft,it fits in a hole,going into the engine block.,look on the inside of the engine compartment ,on the firewall side,left of the pulleys,down low.

SOURCE: 2002 chevy trailblazer with massive oil leak.

oil pan, or rear mainseal housings are common leaks on these... also if 4wd, diff runs thru oil pan..

2006 Chevy Colorado. I think my timing jumped. I went to start then I heard something popped from drive on the side under the hood. I notice the crankshaft sensor was not connected.

I wonder is you picked something up and the serpentine belt whipped the stick or whatever and disconnected the crankshaft position sensor. Can you reconnect it and start the vehicle?

2004 chevy colorado throttlle body relearn

I haven't done a throttle relearn. All I have done are plug and play. Ecm controls the throttle thru the pedal position sensor. I've done up to 2010 so far, on various makes and models.
