I have an 04 saab 93 2.2tid. i have a problem with the drivers window. its an electric window and when the window closes and hits the top it returns to have way up. if you close the window bit by bit there is no problem it only happens when it hits the top.
I had the same problem with my 05 convetible on both front windows , the shop told me to disconnect the battery for 30 mins and then reconnect. This resets the sensor or computer for the child guard system on the windows. It worked for me

The wires (inside the door) from the master switch to the fuse-box must be broken -- no electric-power is reaching the motor that lowers/raises the window. Take the whole door apart, and use a continuity-testing multi-meter to verify that the motor is receiving power, and that the switch is opening/closing properly.
I am not sure if it is the same problem I had with my '04 93 SS, but there is a cabin air filter that has a drain next to it that allows the rain water to run down to the ground. Mine was clogged up with leaves and other junk which caused the rain water to leak through the filter into the cabin. Being that yours is a different body style, your filter may be on the drivers side which would cause this. I would try to look up where your Cabin Air Filter is and try to clean the drain.
Panel is easy to remove with just 2 screws (#30 bit) in the door handle. You must first remove the cover from the handle used to close the door when getting in the car and the screws are there. The rest of the panel are snap-ins.
Hi, Andy. Did you check the fuses because I think you have blown fuse.Don.t know were the fuses are? Because your car is first registered second half 2006 RHD just open the driver.s door and look on dashboard RHside. There is plastic cover.Open it.Check fuses useing test lamp, not visual.
If all fuses etc check out, look at wiring harness inside loom that is located near door hinge area of drivers door for bared or broken wires. Not uncommon for wires to get ruined especially at drivers door, as it is opened & closed the most.
