2006 Ford F250 Super Duty no running light for trailer and keep blowing a fuse

have seen this a few times on fords. I'm assuming it only blows when you use the trailer. then the only cause can be a shorted wire somewhere between the trailer connector to the lights at the rear of the trailer or maybe the light assembly is bad. If the problem happens when you have no trailer hooked up then inspect the trunk harness. and wiring under the bumpers. Something 12v got pinched.

I have a f-250, 2006 diesel, I have been having trouble with keeping a charge I just replaced both batteries. Today I was driving and accelerated to about seventy, The speedometer tacked out above 100 and...

sound like multiple problems....BUT test your ALT., a bad regulator will drain your BATTS. if not sure disconnect the termoinal and regulator plug from the ALT and sit O/Nite, retry in AM....This also can have an adverse effect to the electrical if it's OVERCHGING it don't like 14+ volts ....hope this helps you...GL
