Question about 2006 Chevrolet Impala
The back seat that you sit on is not flush with the part of the seat your back is against. It is like it was jarred extra hard so we need to know how to hook it back to make it not be loose as it is now and where it all is connected. My sister is hugely upset about it as she thinks when I was loading the pet crate in and taking it out that I damaged her seat and I can't see how loading a crate in or taking it out would unhook the seat from the back. Can you help ASAP so we can get her backseat how it was when she got the car? It was bought used just a few months ago.
The bottom of the seat hooks into a hook on both sides of the seat in the front. To lock it down push the bottom to the rear of the car and push down to hook the seat down. If you lift the seat up you can see the round or square hooks and then you will know how far back you need to push it. It does have to be pushed hard to the rear to hook.

it is normally located on the top of the engine look at the upper radiator hose and follow that back to the engine and then you will find the thermostat and you can try www.autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

The passenger side airbag is a lot easier then driver side. Take the glove box out and you will see two 10mm bolts holding it in place. When you open the passenger side front door, remove the panel on the side of the dash and you will see yellow connectors. The 1 closest to the front is attached to the air bag, it is clipped into the frame. Just pull it loose and take it out and your done. For the Driver side, it takes a skinny T27 to remove the two star bolts, then just disconnect the horn red clip and ground and install new airbag. The module is located under the passenger seat, underneath the carpet. Kinda stupid but thats where its at. You also need to replace the front impact sensor located behind the grille on the back side of the metal bar to each side. Follow the hood latch down. Also just to make sure, you know to disconnect the battery before you do all this. You don't want new airbags to accidentally deploy.

SOURCE: rough idle then stalls
Vacume leak or bad idle motor. With the car in park and running with the hood open listen for leaks moving your hand around the different hoses looking for a change in the sounds that you hear. The idel motor also makes the car idel up to 1500 RPM or so right at start-up then idel down, If it doesn;t the idel motor is likly. Check engine light is on when running? Test for codes, Follow code test charts don't skip any steps!.
