Question about 1994 Buick LeSabre

1 Answer

Parking Lights The parking lights do not work when the button is pushed on the driver's side door. The switch is not bad and the fuse is not blown. I think it might be the light module that is located just behind the glove compartment on the left hand side......but not sure.

The light module is the problem, but I am not going to pay $220.00 for the part plus labor to remove the glove box and install the part. I think that's a little excessive for such a part plus what the Buick Dealership charges for labor. I don't think they realize that there is a recession going on.

No parking lights in back

parking, yes, tail ,park.
(the correct name is park toy calls them tail, tell me how a tail lamp works in front of car, this name is from 1920cars , that only had 1 or 2 tail lights. (fun history that, with funny names)

if actually park lamps. 1st click of head light? switch?
there are over 20 park lamps in car, inside and out.
side markeres, front park lamps
all dimmable lamps inside are park too. all dead>?
then the park relay is bad (tail/park) or fuse. blown.

2000 chevy 2500 (new style) parking lights wont shut off

The parking lights staying on and the left turn signal not working may not be related, the turn signal is probably a burned out bulb, turn on the left signal and see if all the bulbs light up if not replace the burnt one, if they all light, the turn signal flasher may be at fault ( it can work with one side and not the other), as far as the parking lights staying on, check the door "pin" switch that controls the interior lights (are the interior lights staying on too?), since the chimes are staying on even with the keys on , I would suspect the door pin switch, probably the drivers side. I believe there may be a timer on the parking lights that turn them off after several seconds after the door is closed, this may be at fault if not the pin switch. newer cars and trucks also leave the reverse lights on for a while after the door is closed.

I have a 2003 GMC Envoy XL and the driver's side front parking and marker lights don't work although the signal light does. Both of the marker lights were blown and one of the prones in the parking lamp...

If you have a test light, you can check for power at the light sockets and connectors. If you have power, you can connect the alligator clip on the test light to the positive side of the battery and test for a faulty ground...Good luck!

Drivers side power window doesn't work and parking lights do not flash when unlocking door with remote

Driver side window motor may be burnt out. Also the switch may have gone bad. You can try hooking up to a switch for other window and rule out switch if the other one works.

Did the lights light up before with remote? Some models don't at all. A wire may have fallen off but you will have to manually trace all wires from alarm to be sure.

Front passenger head lights and parking light will not turn on.

hi the fuse for the parking lights runs all the parking lights so if some are on then it will not be the fuse.sounds like you have a bad ground going to thoes lights.turn on lights and wiggle the plugs to see if they turn on.you will have to make sure there is a ground going to the lights. the light bulbs may just be blown.
