Sounds like an electrical problem, make sure the ground leads to the engine are good and the battery terminals are clean. It might just be a bad connection in the wiring harness try jiggling the connections to see if it makes the gauges jump when it is running.
Your dash needs to come out. These bulbs push into a plastic piece that "twists" into the back of the dash board. (About a 1/4 turn) Unless you can get at them from underneath, but I think it's to tight.
I would check with a Haynes (or equiv) manual. Probable fuse link from battery is out, a wire-type fuse "link". Check the fuse block, is there 12 volts coming in with key ign on? Does the truck start and run? Ignition switch is ok?
if your pressure is too low this fix is quite expensive and not worth for older cars, so the first thing you should try to keep it running is to use THICKER OIL (W20-50 or such), + oil stabilizier (any good oil additive).
I tried it in my Jeep,- helped right away.. Good luck
You need to find the ground wire that goes to your dash instrumentpanel. There is a ground wire that is lose or broken Make sure that all the ground wires are clean and tight. You could try to run a ground wire from your panel to a good ground place. ( This always don't work) but I have done it like this before and worked great. It is only a quick fix, It should be done right. But make sure that you have a really good ground on both the metal panel and metal on your firewall.
