Question about 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe

Would Not Start

My truck would not start after attempting to start numerous times. I took the negative cable off and let it sit for about 2 minutes then reconnected it. Now it starts just fine. I tested to see if I had keyless entry the night before and also my radio comes on and off even with the key out of the ignition. It would not even come on when i attempted to crank it but once I took the battery cable off it came back on now its coming on and off once again but the truck cranks...Any suggestion?

Most likely this is a problem with the pass key system. U will need to take it to the dealer for a full diagnostic of the system, only the dealer is equipped to do these tests.

How to charge a car battery while battery is in the car

No, do not disconnect your car's cables. Connect positive cable to positive one on charger cables, & negative to negative. Attach to DEAD battery FIRST. Then attach to car that's giving you a charge. BOTH CARS MUST BE OFF DURING ATTACHING PHASE. Then the car giving you a charge must start theirs. Let both sit like this for a few minutes (usually 3-5 minutes is plenty). Then try starting your car. If not charged enough, turn yours all the way off & continue charging for longer period of time. YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE CAR's OWN CABLES AT ANY TIME DURING OR AFTER THIS PROCESS, BUT ONLY WHEN A NEW BATTERY IS BEING PLACED IN YOUR CAR.

I lost all power in a 2005 Trailblazer. Called GM and they said to kick the key forward and wait 10 min, and this would reset it. It did but now the radio A/C door locks and windows don't work. What...

Do it three times in a row.

1. Perform a security system relearn.
2. Let the vehicle sit for more than 10 minutes with the key off.
3. Attempt to start the engine, leave the key in the run position monitoring the security system indicator.
4. After 10 minutes, the security indicator will change state.
5. Turn the key off and wait 10 seconds.
6. Attempt to start the engine. If the engine stalls, wait another 10 minutes with the key on.
7. After the second 10 minute timer has expired, turn the key off for 10 seconds.
8. Attempt to start the engine. If the engine stalls, wait another 10 minutes with the key on.
9. After the 3rd 10 minute timer has expired, shut the key off for 10 seconds.
10. The security system will relearn on the 4th starting attempt and the engine should start and run.

Have ivt code p1111.have caried out checks and replaced sensors and chain still have code

The intake control solenoid valve timing valve, wow, that says a lot !
Dis-connect negative (black) battery cable and let car sit for about 15 minutes. Re-connect, now start car, the code should be cleared.
Please let me know.

My 2009 Murano won't start in cold weather after sitting for more then 10 hrs. It attempts to turn over. Started once roadside assistance boosted it. Took it to dealer said there is nothing wrong with it...

Does the starter turn the engine over fast, slow ?
Is it dead after it cranks over a few times ?
I would say you have a bad connection, either positive or negative cable.
Something is loose.
If the battery is fine and has plenty of power to turn the engine over , that is one thing, but if it barely cranks it over and then looses power that is something different.
It sounds to me like there is some kind of intermittent problem with the alternator
You should have a check engine light coming on in your dash.
With this new of vehicle I would tell the dealer to keep the vehicle until they get it fixed and give you a new vehicle to drive until they figure it out.
Please let me know what happens.

Truck won't start

There are numerous items to check and eliminate in troubleshooting this. I will say that the ignition pick up coil in the distributor is a popular failure for your symptom.
