Question about 2000 Buick LeSabre
I just replaced the fuel filter in my 2002 LeSabre last night. It is under the car, about foot in front of the drivers side rear wheel, about 16" in. My fuel line at the screw on connection had some rust, so I think I may need to have that replaced.
I have the same problem with the "lurch and lunge". I cleaned my MAF Sensor, changed my plugs and ignition wires, and now changed the fuel filter. The car runs much better, but I still get the "lurch and lunge" if I step hard on the gas after slowing down (like for a turn). So, if I hit the gas hard when I'm going around 10mph, it still happens.
For your benefit (and mine), what other components could cause the problem and are DIY replacable.
