Check the Blower motor Resistor . It is located under the dashboard near the blower motor. It has a 4 wire plug and a couple of screws attaching the resistor in place.

2004 grand am how to separate underhood junction box no power to two fuses

Crank fuse get's B+ voltage from ignition switch ! Fuse #55 won't have power , it's on the ground side of the right fan circuit .Pull the connector to the right fan , the black wire goes through fuse #55 to ground . With an ohm meter test the circuit ! Red lead to the connector an black lead to ground , should have continuity ! Pull fuse #55 an continuity will go away , open circuit ! Nothing wrong with #55 . Does vehicle start ? engine crank over ? Bad ignition !

Front defogger not blowing air

Heater control not switching over from heat to defrost. If you hear the fan motor running and get no air pressure, you're heater core is plugged between the a/c condensor and the heator core. If you don't have any fan motor,it could be a fuse, relay or bad motor.

Heater fan motor does not work

If you have a multimeter or 12v-24v light probe attach one lead to body of vehicle (vehicle seat bolt in floor is a good place), in the case of meter, black lead goes here, light probe has alligator clip, then other lead push point into leads on motor red one should be live with ignition on & fan on max, if no power then I'd say check fuses & the fan switch, try removing plug near fan motor & applying 12v directly to the two wires, it should not matter which way you wire this, it will still run if it's going to, but if one is red & the other black, then red is positive.Good luck, these motors very rarely give out, my guess is the switch...

Power windows not working

1 does the led's light up on the master window switch [drivers side] 2 when you rocker the drivers side down can you hear a audio click down under the steering wheel. the i/p fuse panel is down there where you rest your left foot.3 power is from battery saver relay to master ins. relay to one touch window relay. this is the one you should hear click. the back side of this fuse panel calls out the locations down there. the owners manule also helps some.4. if you take the interior door cover off remove the screw on extenstion on door lock and one screw under plastic button where you pull the door shut.arm rest support bracket. the rest is held in place with snap in plastic buttons [christmas trees like]. the door latch unlock should slide out of the opening when you slide it froward.there are 4 male/female electrical connections, 2 to the master door switch.one to the power/heated mirror, 1 to power locks. 5. don't unsnap them yet.with a test light you can check for battery voltage. on the master door switch the blue/black tracer wire should be hot[12 volt dc]. at all times. put one end in the backside and the other to a bolt or rivet on the door. the light should come on.next with one end on the blue/black tracer and one on white/black tracer rocker driver side up/down switch, the light should come on.there are only 13 wires on the master window switch 2black wires are ground, 2blue/black tracer[hot] 1 red/blue tracer should be [hot] when you unlock the window lock rocker switch.know the passanger and back seat switches should work. switch it to lock and they should only work from the driver side master switch.the 8 wires left are 2 for each window one up one down.try this with a friend it makes it easyer. good luck doug.

Heaterfan on ford KA 03 plate 1.3 not working. no

Turned out to be the block connector that joins the wire to the heater fan motor. (Bad connection) removed block connector and made soldered joint. And insulated with insulation tape. (Nothing wrong with the relays,or fuses). All checked out O.K. Job done!

Ford explorer heater fan not working

If this occurs in all positions, check fuse, check for power at the fan motor, if power in all positions replace motor. if no power at fan and fuse is good, check blower motor resistor and blower motor control switch. Replace as required
