If you have manual windows, remove the window crank handle. Then remove the screw from the trim around the door handle and pry the trim from the door. If you have power locks, disconnect the lock connector from the trim and set it aside. Now remove the panel screws from the bottom of the door (either four or five). You should now be able to pull the panel away from the door at the bottom and then lift it up and away. Once the panel is removed from the door, disconnect the speaker connector.

How do i remove the door panel on a 1998 buick regal front driver side.

  • In the door handle "finger well" remove the plastic cover with a screw driver.
  • Remove 2 screws (they may be torx or regular hex bolts).
  • Remove Philips screw from behind the inside door opener lever.
  • slightly and slowly, pull back on the plastic triangle that is on the back side of the outside rear view mirror. It will stay attached to the door panel, but you need to release the catch nipple from the door.
  • Now, pull out on the edges all around the bottom, front, and back of the door panel ( you may need a putty knife or something similar to get your fingers in and start pulling).
  • once the door is loose, lift up slowly on the door panel until it is free of the door (don't pull too hard or far as there are still 3 wire bundles attached).
  • Unclip the door light plug on the back and the locks and windows switch plugs towards the front.
  • Reverse for install.

My manual roll up/down window does not work. How do I fix it. how do I get the panel off ? Do I need to take off the roll up down handle to get the door panel off, if so how do I take the handle off?...

you do need to remove the door handles to remove the door trim panel, if it has arm rests on the panel look for 2 or 3 plastic plugs which only press in and are easy to remove with a blade, if they are not present the arm rest may be part of the trim as one unit.
the winder handle may have a spring clip behind the handle and the trim, if that is the case you will need a special tool to remove the clip. also check for any screws that may be holding the panel to the door, when all screws etc are removed just lever the panel away from the door with a flat blade or screwdriver. hope this info helps

How to remove door panel on a sunfire

very very carefully !! when i did this on my chevy and Saturn i broke almost every plastic clip...you need to take your time and use a large blade screw driver or the proper tool which looks like a crow bar, with a v-shaped wedge in it and after you have taken all the screws out of the door handle and seat belt areas, then try to pry these loose...dont let it fall because you may still have wiring still connected to the door lock or window switch assemblies and they may break the connectors.Thats about all the info i can give you. Remember they're usually made of plastic and break when excessive force is used...take your time. Even after knowing this i still end up breaking one or two, they're very tricky to get out. Im sure if i had the correct tool it would have been easier. good luck.

1998 pontiac sunfire, where is te turn signal fuse

When you open up the drivers side door there should be a panel right on the end of the dashboard. Pull it open and look there. I generally have the fuse diagrams but can't seem to find it for your car. It might be written on the inside of the panel you pull off. You should also have the diagram inside of your book you got with the car unless someone took it out. Look in your glove box it might be there.

1994 Jeep Cherokee Power Window Problem

When you open the drivers door you can see a wiring harness between the door and the body of the car.
You more than likely have wires broken in there.
