The horn in my sister's 2003 Ford Focus ZX5 isn't working. I'm wondering if it's the R23 in the fuse box or is the horn just busted? If it's the R23, how do I replace it?
I have changed this a few times. Most likely is a bad horn. Replacement is 15 dollars. The horn is mounted to body underneath by the driver side tire. Two bolts hold it on. The problem is usually the horn in this car because it is located where water is constantly going inside so unless you relocate the horn when replacing it plan on repeating the process.

Your horns are behind the grill and can be a chore to get at. Before you dig into that, you know that clicking you hear? Find the box that's clicking - that's your horn relay. Try replacing that first before ripping your grill out.

if you check the wire that comes from the horn button to the relay for voltage when the horn is pushed and have voltage then you have a bad relay,if not then you probably have bad contacts in the horn pad area or even the clock spring itself.

Hi
If you take off th cap covering your fuse pannel there should be a list of locations and fuse volt sizes on the reverse side of the cap This should guide you to the exact location of the fuse you need. if that fuse is not burned then the problem is elswhere. good luck...
