Question about 1988 Pontiac Firebird
I bought a 1988 firebird, and the driver side door won't open. i opened it up and found that a piece is missing. i was told that is was a plastic clip that connects the rod from the door handle to the latch, does anyone know what im talking about? and is there somewhere i can get a diagram of the inside of the door?
It is called a rod clip. They are color coded so take what's left of the one you have to your local parts store or G.M. dealership. Hope this helps.
