I just replaced the radiator and got it running then drove it 50 mile's home shut it off a few times on the way no problems. the next day i tried to start it an it will just crank. it sounds like it is only getting spark partly cause it sounds like it will almost start then it just goes back to crank. pulled the air filter and can smell gas, can hear the pump, what could it be?

Lets forget about the items you replaced.This sounds like a differnt problem;1the reason you get the gas smell is because the engine is not fireing and gas is is waiting about in the cyclenders waiting to fire: my main suspect in this case would be battery/alternator;; if your air filter is ok.? try jump starting the car if this successful then its a battery/alternator problem.hope this helps.adrian

I would start by checking the basics which are checking for spark and fuel. If you have a gauge, check to see if you have fuel pressure when the key is turned on. If you have fuel pressure, check for spark. Chrysler products are known for the crank shaft sensor to go bad and cause a no start. Also, if driving for a certain period with the pedal depressed at the same speed, the throttle position sensor will stay at that position if stuck and will cause either and driveability problem or stalling. You may wanna look into replacing or at least checking that. Good luck.
sounds like a broken timing belt,timing belts like to break during engine cranking and engine shut down. there are inspection holes in the timing cover,if you can't determine, remove top half of timing cover and check belt for slap,if there's slap,it's broke.
well i had this trouble with one came in with out haveing a scan tool witch you sold,cheers,regeehould invest in most canadian tire stores carry $30-$50 bucks well worth it you do not want to gue$$ this problem but souding like 02 sensor in manifold bank 1 meaning 1st one in the exsaust engine manif
yea you have no fuel and sound like a bad harness and the gm's are know for there fuel pump harness's! did you change it when you changed the pump? there is a lose connection somewhere in the fuel delivery system and it's pretty simply! i would check the fuel pump relay on the left hand side of the engine compartment and maybe even put power to the pump at the relay position "b" on the fuel pump relay harness and there should be a one pin connector to put power to also connected to the same position on the relay "b" the wire should be tan and white! good luck
Sounds as if the head gasket is leaking compression pressures into the cooling system. It seems that this problem has just occurred recently. This can be checked at your rad shop. They have a tool that uses a chemical solution that changes color if there is any engine gases present in the coolant.
Possibly faulty ignition module is the problem, stalls when engine is hot when you sit for a while it cools off and runs again until it heats up again, those are usually the symptoms of a bad ignition module and after a while it may give out all together and not run at all, usually if the module is at fault it shuts down the fuel pump so the engine don't load up with fuel, do to when engine continuously cranks over the injectors never stop squirting fuel and flood the engine do to lack of spark which is produced by the module, this could possibly be your problem.
