1998 Chevy 1500 Z71 5 speed random misfires

I have been chasing this problem for quite sometime now and cant seem to put my finger on it. The truck runs fine at an idle and great during hard accelerations but just crusing down the hiway at rpms between 2000 and 3000 it has an intermitent miss. I have replaced the injectors and distributor cap, rotor plugs and plug wires but didnt make a difference can anyone help me out?

2002 Chevy silverado, at speeds of 60+ mph, it feels like the transmission slips or it sputters(hesitates), but only at high speeds

Are you certain that it is the transmission and not the engine misfiring? I would recommend scanning your onboard computer network to BEGIN proper diagnosis.

2005 chevy silverado v8, some hesitation, rough idling, ses light on and sometimes flashes. black smoke when reving the engine.

Black smoke could mean it is running rich, have a scan done, it is probably an engine misfire code and it will tell you which cylinder is misfiring. the last digit is the cylinder, unless it says random missfire, It may be time for a good tune up and don't forget the fuel injection system, Clean out the intake and do an induction cleaning on the injectors.

1998 chevy C-1500 brake problems

Try a clean and adjust on the rear shoes, because sometimes when they aren't properly adjusted they won't seem to work properly. Also there is a common "squishy" petal feeling after brake work on most all larger GM's around that year, wich I have run into several times. Try test driving it, and put a couple miles on it, That usualy helps.
Good luck!

1997 chevy truck running rough

Is this a 5.7? They are notorious for intake manifold gasket leaks. When mine did it, the diagnostics blamed it on an ignition misfire also! Replaced the gaskets and it runs smooth!
