Fuse box is located in the engine compartment. Over the drivers side wheel well. just lift the large rectangular cover.
Hope this helps

There is also one under the steering wheel by your left knee.

I have a 2005 scion xb and my radio stopped working and my cigarette lighter. what could fix this?

The fuse that runs both is blown. Your manual will tell you the location and type needed to fix it. it will probably be a 10 or 15 amp fuse. Most cars have to fuse boxes. One inside and one under the hood. Most likely it will be in the one inside the car. Also, theres usually spare fuses in one of the boxes, so you shouldn't have to buy one. Check and make sure nothing fell into the cigarette lighter socket, like a coin for example. I've seen that countless times. When you find the fuse, pull it out with the white fuse remover located in the fuse box and put the new one in. Hope this helped! Please rate if it did!

I have a 2005 scion xa and the cigarette lighter has never worked

The fuse box cover should tell you which fuse controls the lighter. Also, I've seen it where the people forget to hook the harness up to connect the lighter unit

Think radio was shorted out

change the fuse....for the cigarette lighter... they often share the same fuse... if that is an aftermarket stereo it may have a fuse of it's own... but you would need to remove the radio to check that.

Fuse box

The fuse box is located just above and to the right of the hood latch release. There's that little cubby there. Put your finger in the hole and pull back toward yourself and down slightly. It should just pop out. Fuse panel is behind there.
