I had a similar problem on my 2005 Honda Odyssey. The problem was lessened by new tires and further lessened by 4 wheel alignment but after 10K miles or so, the problem returned and was at a point that I have to drive a certain speeds on the freeway to avoid the shake showing up in the steering wheel.
Finally, the problem was bad enough that the root cause was determined. It was caused by play in the bushings of the front A-Arms. Unfortunately, the bushing is not replaceable, so the whole assembly (on both sides) must be replaced. Once replaced, the car drives like new. Cost was around 1100 including wheel rotation and 4-wheel alignment.
I hope this helps with your problem.
Like a bad tire or out of round tire..it will make a slight thumping sound while driving..and maybe shake the entire car at low speeds or shake the steering if in front..
