Question about 1999 Jeep Cherokee
I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee with 120,000+ miles runs great except it will sputter and lurch when I'm driving it until I give it gas and work through it. Sometimes (not all) I hear what I can only describe as a popping or backfiring sound. It only does this one time and will not repeat untile the next time I start and drive the car.
Possible throttle position sensor ,. air intake leaks , ignition coil or secondary ignition cable , important to have good clean ground and battery connections also
