Question about 2005 Ford Escape
I have a detonation problem that has been getting steadily worse. Ive tried cleaning carbon many times with many different products, Ive looked for vacuum leaks etc etc etc. Other then the detonation it idles and runs fine. It is now to the point now where premium fuel no longer will prevent the detonation under load. No codes are being set and the only thing I find is the computer's readout indicates a 3,000ft altitude when it is only 950ft.
Any ideas and which sensor is responsible for measuring barometric pressure?
