rebuild and redo the rings on your motor unless the block is cracked or you might need to get a new motor depending on the prices of the two choices , check on it , see what sounds like a better deal , rebuild or new motor

This can be caused by a number of things bad rings  leaking valves or  cam lobes that  have worn  u can check the rings by pouring a couple cap fulls of oil into the spark plug hole then do a compression check  if the cylinder gains compression then its most likely the rings and time for a rebuild if it stays the same  its more likely to be in the valve train or cam and lifters     hope this helps  oil consumption and blueish smoke from exhaust is a good indicator that its rings

I have a 1992 mitsubishi eclipse that is getting no compression on cylinders 1 and 3 how do i fix it without replacing entire motor

You *most likely* have bad valves in those two cylinders. If adding an ounce of motor oil to those cylinders and then compression check again and still no compression then remove the cylinder head and replace the valves or replace the head with a rebuilt head.

Low compression cylinder

Time for a new car, unless you want to spend the big bucks to repair your engine. Low compression, below 100 psi, means the cylinder will not fire, will miss, have low power. The reason could be a blown head gasket, worn rings, valves not seating properly-at the very least, the cylinder head will have to come off. Before doing that, though, do a leak down test to pinpoint the cause of low compression in that cylinder. If just one cylinder is low, and you have good compression otherwise, it may be worth fixing. Tercels are low value beaters, but I owned a '94 tercel, and I loved it, till the engine went south, just like yours-body was too banged up to make it worth fixing, though.

dont know motor size but it sounds like you have a vapor lock situation with your fuel lines ,try wrapping all fuel lines with black snake skin plastic wrap like what is on your spark plug wires .

Do you see a light that says SECURITY on the dash somewhere? This can turn off your starter and disable your car. Read about it on this link with options on how to fix it yourself.

Coolant lightcame on (2004 Cadilac deville. Had

Is it the LOW coolant light? Your car is equipped with a sensor on the expansion tank (radiator overflow). Right front fender. It's there for when the car heats up. As the engine heats up and the coolant expands it racks into the reservoir/overflow/expansion tank. When the engine cools, it sucks the coolant back in. If your car was low on coolant then there's a good possibility that as it cooled, it sucked the recently added fluid in. Check that it is full to the "cold full" level by looking at the tank before you start it for the day. If it's not, then the sensor is telling you to add coolant. If it is, then the sensor in the tank may be bad.
