Their is a rest on most ford vehicles in the trunk under the trunks side panels or by tail lights  if its tripped  you wont get any power to the pump  has a red button just push it  to rest it

can you hear the fuel pump working if not check the wiring and power and ground by the tank. check fuel pressure, as if its low it won`t start, you can get bad new parts. do you have spark at the plugs. check for codes. just some places to start.

I'M NOT GETTING FUEL TO THE INJECTORS ON A 85 CROWN VIC . THE FUEL PUMP AND THE RELAY HAVE BENN REPLACED WHATS THE NEXT STEP/

You will only get fuel at the injectors when cranking, the pump wont run(Usually) with just the key on. This is to prevent the pump running in a crash and feeding the engine.

Fuel pump fuse keeps blowing on my 95 Crown Vic

Using a smaller fuse should make the problem happen more often.
A mechanic would unplug the pump harness at the tank and check the circuit for high resistance or a short to ground.
If nothing is found in the harness, I would suspect the pump in the tank.

2004 crown vic two fuel pumps in thirty days

ouch, have power supply tested for proper voltage to pump, also have ground checked. i believe pump is overheating causing failure, Possible causes, 1) insufficiant voltage 2) bad ground causing power surges 3) Inproper ventalation of fuel tank 4) dry run pump (no fuel) 5) faulty pump relays
I hope this gives some insight but we just don't know untill tests have been made

2006 crown vic; the fuel pump, will not kick. changed fuel pump, all fuses and relays. i can ground the pump and make it run all the time. but it will not kick on and off.

From your description, sounds like your pump wants an external pressure regulator - and that the pump is designed to be "always on'. Follow the ground lead back to its source - I suspect that you will find a bad connection (rust or broken). You can test it with an ohm meter (between the ground lead and the car chassis. Wth the key ON, the meter should show a very low resistance to ground. Wth the key off, a very high resistance (or open) to ground.

Have you checked the fuel filter. Fuel pump will pressure up, but fuel filter could be clogged and not work without the pressure of the fuel pump.
