My engine smoke excessively even when hot. I hag the head gasket fixed about 3 years ago but its burning anti freeze regularly around town and not on the highway.

You still have a leak somewhere! It could be the Head Gasket/Warped Head, Intake Gasket, Timing Cover. Have a Mechanic look at this before you cause severe and costly damage.

Ticking & white smoke after replaced intake gasket

Sounds like coolant getting into the combustion chamber. Potential causes in order of significance: Intake manifold gasket (might not have been done right), Head gasket(s), cracked cylinder head, or, cracked engine block. Check the oil. If it looks like chocolate milk it means the coolant and oil are mixing

If the wire was pinched between the intake and block the intake isnt going to be seated right, due to when you took the wire out it left that gap. I would recommend you check all the nuts and bolts that bolt the intake on to see if you can tighten them down more. good luck

I'd check for vacuum leaks next. use a spray can of intake or brake cleaner. spray around vacuum lines, manifold gaskets etc. if the rpm increases you found a leak.

Overheatin loosin water and steamin from the back of motor around the intake

You need to have the intake manifold gaskets replaced This will also allow the temp sensor to tell the computer that it has warmed up. Then you can accellerate properly. Good luck Moe

mmmmmmmm they are really hard to replace but most likelly is goin to be a intake gasket, i do recomend you to call arrown the auto repairs and ask for a pressure test to the cooling system
this test is not that expensive and will tell you exactly where is the leak coming from, but on this type of vehicles i badly see a freeze plug leaking.
