SOURCE: 2004 Dodge Stratus A/C Fan Relay Switch

ok first the fan relay should be located inside the elecrical box. this is usually located on the drivers side under the hood. next even you have only one speed when you turn the switch it's because the reostat is bad it is located in the fan motor housing. hope this helps.

SOURCE: headlights wont come on and bright lights won't stay on hold bright light switch and blower works

I had the same problem. The solution is simple; the ignition switch needs to be replaced. This is an easy do-it-yourself project. Here are instructions:

Check for a switch on ebay, they are about $15. After 10 years they wear out.

Your right side low beam does not burn ? Then it will be a bad headlight or in the low beam circuit feed .

My lights will not come on headlights i have highbeam if i hold the switch if i let go i have nothing please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had the same problem with my 2004 dodge ram 1500. I also ran a ground wire from the good headlight to the passenger h/l. This worked for about a day. I took it to the dealer. For a $100, they informed me that I would need a new power modulator ( fancy name for fusebox under the hood), and a new wire to that headlight with an estimated cost of $700. I believe the problem is in the dimmer switch. It cost $67. I will try to install it this weekend, and I will let you know if it works....

Hi, try disconnecting the connector from the headlight switch. If this doesn't turn the lights off, the problem is the body control module. If disconnecting the headlight switch DOES turn the lights orff, replace the headlight switch. You can probably get a used body control module from a salvage yard. They may also have the headlight switch, but you can get those at your local parts chain. To access the switch, pull the bezel straight out as shown below. The BCM is behind the fuse panel as shown below. Please let me know if you have any questions, anmd thanks for using FixYa.

The headlights/brights on my 02 Dodge Stratus have ceased working. The parking/turn signal lights work. Any thoughts on what could be causing this issue?

Just the high beams? If so, it's probably the bulb itself. If not, (no headlights at all) check for a blown fuse. These fuses are found under the hood at the power distribution center (check your owners manual).

2000 Dodge Stratus brake lights don't work

the stratus' are well known for the brakelight switch on the brake pedal going out frequently!!
so go to nearest parts house and buy a brakelight switch, that will most likely fix your problem!!

Headlights won't work!

I had a problem like that on a Mercury Sable and it turned out to be the Multi-Function Switch. This was the whole assembly for the turn signals, hi/low beam switch, and wipers (I think). You have to remove it to test it to see if it is bad. Check out the Auto Zone web site to see if they have the test and replacement procedure. Thay may even do it in the store for you.
