O/d light flashes when warmed up

1997 infiniti qx4 o/d light flashes when warmed up, also if brake aplide will also trurn on o/d light. when warmed up it will trurn on off when ging over bumps some times some times not, not the swich if u can help call me 215 439 8804 alex or email

    I supect it is a loose connection. Check all connections to be sure they are seated for this circuit.

This needs to go the dealer to have the Body Control module (BCM) scanned for function problems, all these systems are computer controlled.

I want to know how to set the timing on my 1997 infinity qx4

start engine and warm to normal temp.unplug both throttle position sensors,this will put system in set timing mode,set timing to 15 degrees...second to last mark on scale ...torward the drivers fender.reconnect when done.

YES IT IS Under the lower intake manifold... the entire manifold must be removed which is a 2.5hr job... and you will see it on the engine block itself

i'm not to privey on this make ,but some of these models have a reset switch .you might want to check your owners manual to see if that is so .if so it should tell you how to reset it .hope this help's
