Question about 2006 Kia Sorento
My husband spilled his tea, to avoid accident, on the driver side door, the next day the door locks keep clicking, and the driver window would randomly go up and down, and there was a sizzling noise. this lasted about a hour. Then everything worked fine. three days later, the passenger window would not go up.... and still hasnt. Any suggestions? How hard is it to get to the electronics, 1 screw? or the whole door dissembled? better off taking it to the dealership?
Maybe its not to late?what alot of people dont know is BABY WIPES is the answer; lets start at the drivers door it all started here if you can get the buttons popped up out of the panel and give them a good cleaning with baby wipes leave out for 5/6hours to dry.replace.allways remember the drivers door resets all doors. If your happy put everthing back into position.then with car running .pull the switch ie;drivers window switch to auto up,this should reset all windows. If it fails keep trying.it will work in time .adrian

Tips for a great answer:
Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
