It could be one of two problems. It's kinda hard to explain. The Instrument panel wiring is seperated in two. It could be a bulb. Or the wiring in the panel could have a short. (like mine did) If you know any electrical. You can fix it. You have to take out the panel to see what it could be. If it's the bulb then your golden. When you take out the panel you will see how the wiring is. (it looks like the rear defrost lines on your back window). If it's the wiring then you will have to use a piece of speaker wire about 6 inches long. And use it to jumper power from a good bulb to where the bad side of the panel is.

2001 Grand Prix: can't find the blower motor resistor on 2001 Grand...

Under the passenger side of the dashboard is a carpeted cover you'll need to remove. Once that's out of the way you'll see the blower motor on the RH side and just to the left of it right next to the frontwall is the blower motor resistor held in by two screws.
Here's a picture of the old design (right) versus the new design (left).

Can you replace dash lights and how

Yes you can replace the lights in your dash. You will have to remove the gauges to get at them. On the back side of the gauges the bulbs are in small holders that quarter turn to release them. The bulbs that are burned out should be obvious as they will be silver black from the burn out. Take one of them with clean numbers visible to your local parts store and they should be able to match them up for you. I would expect these bulbs to cost about $1 each.

I would also suggest that you get a Haynes repair manual at your local parts store. These are model specific so they are considerably cheaper at about $20. In the book you should be able to find detailed instructions on how to remove the instrument panel.

its easier to test them all get a test light turn your ignition to on position turn park lights on and dimmer switch to fully lit position now test each side of every fuse until you find one that only lights the test light on one side replace it. in case you have never done this before its easy the fuses have an open at both top corners stick test light tip in it and the other side to a ground.clean metal surface .
