Look at engine from front---- left hand side bottom below altenator ,4x 10mm bolts .remove altenator to gain access is only way.3/8 drive socket set with universal .Renew housing as they warp like crazy and make a gasket with a cornflakes box or similar ,i know it has·"O" rings but trust me they leak.use a ball bearing to make the bolt holes in the gasket.

I wan to replace the coolant thermast, bu I don't know where the coolant thermastat is located.

if you want to replace your thermostat for the coolent it is located off the upper hose from the radiator going into the top of the motor. you will have to remove the hose from the housing then remove the housing itself and the thermostat will be sitting right there on top. make sure you remember whitch way its faceing so when you replace it you dont sit it down backwards or upsidedown.. also its a good idea to disconnect the battery because you should have ground wires running to the housing. make sure you have the proper gaskett also.. if you need to see it done first go to youtube videos and just type in changing thermostat there are alot of good videos that should help you out... i hope this helps get you going in the right direction..

Find the radiator hose that is attached to the front of the engine, under the housing the hose is attached to the tstat is located. Make sure you get the right temp tstat and a new gasket for the housing. Drain the radiator fully before you start the job or U will have antifreeze all over the place.

Running hot.changed the thermastate and it still running hot and heater not working dont think water is circlelating

You will need to check for bleeder screws the upper most parts of the cooling system as the air is creating a pocket inside the engine, make sure you do this when the engine is cool, if there are no bleeder screws try taking a heater hose loose and fill the radiator until it comes out at the heater hose fitting

I have a problem with it over heating ! I put a new rad. New thermastate in it even change the cooling temp. Senor ! But after all that the damn thing still overheats what can i do to slove this !

the problem may be the water pump,as you have changed everything else that is all it can be,but before you replace it check the bottom radiator hose to make sure it has not gone soft, sometimes when this happens the bottom hose will flatten when the engine is reving not letting the water circulate.......hope this helps..........cheers

Where is the location of the thermastate on my 2005 jeep liberty sport 3.7 6cyl engine

The thermostat is located in the metal housing at the end of the top radiator hose where it connects to the engine mainifold.
The hose is held onto the thermostat housing by a clamp.
The thermostat housing is bolted to the manifold with two bolts.

Overheats gets hot on the top of the motor but at bottom hose from thermastate it is cold changed radiater and put in two thermastates still gets hot help

1. In order to eliminate, remove the thermostat altogether, for now.
2. Make sure the heater bypass hose is working. You could route the hose going into the interior heater and bypass the heater also.

It should eliminate a lot!

Next, consider the water pump.

Hope this helps!
