Question about 1989 Acura Legend
Ok my legends problems are as follows; it wont start anymore unless jump started, when i do drive it, it dies at every stop sign, there is a hesitation in the ignition. ok now ive replaced the alternator, starter, battery, and spark plugs and have done a oil change and fuel treatment and everything on it, and the sum ***** still wont start, the guy i bought it from said there is something in the wiring of the drivers side seat that drains the battery. but im on my 3rd battery now in just about 3 weeks, so why in the hell is my car not running the way it should be???? if anyone can help it will be much appreciated
1st- find the short. If the previous owner said there is a short under the seat , look for it and repair it.
2nd -after repair check your charging system and battery to make sure its up to specs.
Note: I gather the under seat wiring is for seat control, maybe you could unplug it and see if the battery and alternater work ok. If it does and you can't repair wiring perhaps you can get a replacement wiring harness for that section( seat control?)
