Question about 2004 Buick Rainier
About two years ago our 2004 Buick Rainier lurched forward while parking it on an inclined driveway when it was covered with snow and ice. My wife was in it at the time and when she pressed the brakes it would not stop and kept lurching until hit the house and she turned it off. Is this a known problem? Since then we purposely avoid parking on inclines during icy conditions. The dealership we bought it from moved or folded, so should we bring it into another Buick dealership or an independent mechanic?
Go to an independant mechanic.a dealership will try to tell you things are wrong that arent and that you need to fix this or that while they have it there and then want to charge you 70 dollars an hour for the time they spend working on it.
