Question about 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse
The display panel that sits in the upper part of the dash decided to go AWOL the other day. The radio and CD player all still work fine, but I don't have any information or clock now. =(
I've checked all fuses, and they seem to be in order. I'm very reluctant to go to the dealer...$$$. Anyone seen this problem and solution with their G3? 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse display window quit working, but the radio works fine. Does anyone know the solution for this?
Inside the radio is a miniature bulb that back-lights the display, this is true of all radio's, in fact they all use the same tiny bulb, these do burn out from time to time, u will need to remove the radio/CD unit and then pull the top cover off, inside just behind the display u will find a small twist in socket that contains the bulb, u can buy this bulb at any full service auto part's store for about $2
