Need to replace the Oxygen sensor on the exhaust. This is a maintenance issue, every modern car will eventually need this to be done. Not very difficult or technical, so not necessary to be ripped off by dealer, find a cheaper mechanic.
Hello, If your pretty sure it is the Exhaust light. It is referring to your emissions, Like Cadillac converter. I doubt it is a problem with the Cadillac converter itself, but most likely it has to do with your 02 sensor that is part of the Cadillac converter emissions. What I would do, is you can take your car into a Auto Zone, they have a hand held device (computer) and they can tell you the code that comes up, but i am pretty sure this is a emissions problem , which mostly likely is your 02 sensor. Let me know. Mike
This sometimes is triggered by the MAF(Mass Air Flow Sensor), try cleaning it with the highest percent isoproply alcohal first, do not touch the sensor with anything use a big bag to soak it into, or just replace the sensor.
Exhaust pressure sensor a possibility if it has a DPF (diesel particulate filter). Has it had its fuel pump recall, the oil pressure light could be just the constant cranking and running the battery low.
This is indicating a fualt with the abs and braking system. Volkswagon is very proprietary and a trip to the dealer may be nesssary. If you look in your owners manual it will tell you what all of the warning lights on your dashboard mean. I would also check your battery, if your battery is not putting out optimal voltage for this car then it will play all sorts of havoc with your warning system by throwing false warning and such. My 07 passat did the same thing, I would get in the car and every warning light on the dash would light up like a christmas tree and then go off a little while later. I replaced the battery and I never had a problem again.
