1984 F-150 Brake Lights and Blinkers

I have an electrical issue with my 84 Ford, my blinkers just stopped working and all my fuses are still good, also my brake lights wont come on unless I push the brake pedal all the way down to the floor, but my headlights, parking lights, and taillights work just fine. Im not mechanicly inclined so can someone help me trouble shoot this please?

I changed my switch for the brake lights and that fixed them, changed out the flasher bus for the blinkers and that didnt work. Dont know where to go from there to fix the blinkers.

On the brake peddle there is a switch when you press the brake peddle..check to see if after you press the peddle it should activate..it could be stuck or out of place...you may need to get a new one..
the blinker you will have to purchase a blinker relay...ask any part store for it...

Been having trailer light issues last i checked i had blinkers and brakes but no running light just attempted to go out and test the wires and some how have managed to lose the trucks blinkers/brake lights...

It's a wiring problem and in most cases a grounding problem. Check the wiring with a multimeter. See that you have proper current on the hot side and also check ALL of the ground wires to see that they are really grounded. They sometimes get loose an or corroded and do not ground.

yes it sounds like the turn signal switch is defective, the brake lights go through that switch as well.

Brake Lights and Blinkers don't work

try tapping the hazard switch on and off a bunch of times fairly hard. these switches have a tendency to go bad and neither the hazards or turn signals will work
