Question about 1991 Jeep Cherokee Limited
Ever time i have my jeep in part time 4x4... it starts to **** and stuff when i turn.... i had a friend watch me make a turn and he said it looks like the back wheel locks up and starts jerking and stuff... what is my problem? i cant figure it out...
Your system is operating normally. It is NOT designed to be driven on dry pavement in 4wd mode.

The part time switch in the gearbox is sticking in the on position locking the 4x4 on. It feels and looks really bad because the front wheels are trying to pull the car left or right, while the rear axle is pushing you forward. This is at it's worst when in full lock on road or hard surfaces. This is why 4x4 is for off road only.
