Question about 1988 Chevrolet C2500
88 3/4 ton Cheyenne. Will go in all gears, except when put in reverse it will not move at all.
Reverse synchronizer isnt getting proper lubrication or is worn down. Check lines, and change filter and screen or fluid. But normally in cases like this a gear has dropped and wont grip because the teeth cannot clamp when trans wants to spin.
Hope it works out! It can be expensive
