Question about 1995 Toyota Camry
1995 Toyota Camry LE 4C-When car is cold starts and runs fine. Stop at a store for 10/15 minutes and upon return car starts easy but misses big time especially when put in gear. Then hit the gas and the miss will stop and runs fine. Had it to two mechanics and Toyota dealership and they cannot find the problem. Replaced ignition module, ignition coil, R &R ignition wires, Fuel Filter , and distributor. Cleaned throttle plates, checked timing belt, idle air control valve, head gasket, fuel pump and all OK. Also dealership used black box and found nothing. Checked sensors including throttle sensor with black box and found nothing. Has anyone experience this problem. Desperate for an answer. Car in great shape otherwise, has been taken car of, and has 100.300 miles. Thanks in advance.
I have came across simler problems in the past so im going to give you a list of four main suspects number 1; a broken or pereshed vacuum hose at the trottle body or inlet manifold.2 a blocked injector 3 a fuel injection system fault 4 a disconnected /leaking or perished crankcase ventilation hose. Before you try any of these by a can of fuel cleaner and run it through your system remember a small piece of dirt half the size of grain of salt is enough to cause this problem good luck.adrian
