Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I have a 99 chevy the auto lamp feature will turn the head lights on but not any thing else the head light switch has been replaced and works fine if you turn on the switch manually when the auto lamp turns on the dash lights and tail light s dont come on
Try hitting your dome over ride switch 4 times with the truck running. You should hear a couple of dings and your headlights should shut off. Now hit the switch 4 more times and see if that resets the auto lamp system. If not the next thing I would check is the brake light switch, its under slightly under the dash attached to you brake pedal. Those can slip out of the proper position and cause problems with some of the electrical systems.

WHAT YOU MIGHT CHECK IS THE FUSE FOR TAILLIGHTS, OR DASH LIGHTS. THEY WORK OFF THE SAME FUSE. IF THE FUSE IS BLOWN THE HEADLIGHTS WORK BUT NO TAIL OR DASH LIGHTS

Tips for a great answer:
The liftgate lamps
You can't turn them on manually ?
This could be a BCM problem , this best left to a ASE certified repair shop or the dealer .
