Question about 2000 Toyota Corolla
I just purchased a 1999 Forester, and when I start up the car, I hear a knocking noise coming from the engine. I can also hear at when accelerating. It seems to go away at higher RPM's, or else it's just not audible at higher RPM's. Any ideas/suggestions?? Thanks in advance for any help.
Sounds like you have a headgasket blown, a head, or your rocker arms or lifters whatever you prefer to call them are running dry. might be time for oil change and coolant flush. If ther is no overheating or coolant smell than get your injectors checked. You might just have a broken seal that emits louder sound from the pulsating injectors. Good Luck!
