Re: 3 power windows dont work, 2002 toyota highlander
Check wiring in the door. check power going to motor with a 12V test light of DOVM (digital volt ohm meter) while hitting the switch at the same time. then reverse the testing leads on volt meter. if theres a split or broken wire on in the drivers side front door then thats the problem and u will need to repair that

You don't mention HOW she "puts the window back up" - does the power window work OK when raising or lowering the window. There may a short circuit causing the window motor to turn on.
Let me know if the window operates normally sometimes; and whatever information or description you might have.
If all you windows are inoperative, check the fuse first, then check the main power supply to the master window switch. As for the indicators, they normally share a fuse with one or more circuits, so if perhaps your reverse lights are not working, check a fuse there as well. Otherwise look at the indicator flasher relay and finally the indicator switch and its wiring and connectors.
Have you checked any
fuses? Does the climate control light up? If the climate control also does not light up then I would check fuses. Check the under hood
fuse box (left of drivers side) check the ECU-B fuse should be 7.5 amp.
Check the heater
fuse in the fuse box inside the car it should be 15
amp. If the fuses are OK and only the clock is bad check out my site
www.autoclockrepair.com I offer a repair
service for the highlander clock.
Even I am having the same problem. In addition to power windows and turn signal, the seat belt sign is also not working. Let me know if you find otu something and same with me, if I figure something out I will let you know
check your driver switch's(main) window lock feature button...Possible moisture inside, stuck or electrically damaged. The entire switch will need to be replaced if this is the problem. Hopefully this helps
