You may have a bad light switch or a bad wire at the light switch.
Only way to know is to remove the switch.

Tail lights and dash lights dont work on my 99 ford f350

If the 15amp fuse marked number 4 has power, you should have power into the headlight switch and then out to the lights.

I have an 01 ford Powerstroke and the dash lights and tail lights dont work. i just replaced the headlight switch today. Still have the problem

Dash lights and tail lights are commonly on the same circuit. When your dash lights go out, you know you don't have any tail lights. Pull out the owner's manual and figure out which fuse (or fuses) are for the tail lights.

I have a 94 ford probe, The radio works when it wants to.. but the prblem is the tail lights and dash lights went out about a week ago, Checked all fuses in car and under hood checked all light bulbs all...

You need to replace headlight switch - if fuses, bulbs, wiring looks good. Avoid the toggle switch idea, you'll be opening a whole new can of worms.

Check fuse panel for blown fuses and check trunk wiring for cut wire and check tail bulbs for blown light.

1991 ford f350 460 gas to a 1994 7.3 powerstoke any help?

It would definately be easier and probably cheaper to trade trucks than to change motors. You will have to gut the 94 engine compartment for wire harness, filters, brackets, rad, coolers, computer, sensors. You will need to find a way to fit warning lights into your dash because the 94 dash would be different. Check to make sure your fuse box will work with the diesel harness installed or that you can make it work. Fuel lines and fuel pump need to come off the 94. Diesel ones are different from gas. It will be a lot of work and time. For me the price would have to be real good. Hope this helps.

The dash lights and rear brake lights in my 94 ford taurus won't work...i changed the lights twice and still no action!! its very frustrating because i cant drive when it gets dark..my dash board lights...

Hi,maybe i can shed some light on the situation. Are we sure it is the stop(brake light)lights that we are talking about?Or is it the tail light?I it is the tail lights, then it is most likely the head light switch itself. The dash light and running lights(tail lights)run threw the headlight switch. If I can assist you any more on this problem, let me know.roniecon@gmail.come

Sounds like the fuse...check all of your fuse under and around the drivers side dash...it could also be the light bulbs are burnt out...pull the bulbs out and check to see if they are blackend

Lighting problem

Have you checked the fuses and dimmer switch? Check the trailers bulbs there is usually one bulb with two filaments for each light, one filament can burn out without causing the other to go. If the bulbs are good you should start at the trailer light connector ( use a test light or voltmeter to test for power at the trucks wire harness first to see if it's the truck or the trailer ) and work your way back to the lights. Clean the contacts on the connector, bulbs and bulb sockets (steel wool and or a can of aerosol electrical contact cleaner).
