Question about 2006 Volvo XC90
I just purchased a Certified PreOwned and love it. The problem is the sound on the DVD player; the DVD player works but we cannot hear sound. We rec'd the wireless headsets and they are not working with the DVD player. I noticed yellow and red headset jacks and assume these are required to hear the DVD. Am I correct? If so, where can I purchase headsets - Radio Shack?
If the car is certified and the dvd player is factory the system is required to work to pass certification.
First, Look in the owners manual to make sure your doing it right.
Second, go back to the dealership and see your salesman, they should be happy to get it fixed for you.
Third, take it to the service department. The car is certified, so when the policy takes effect the service department will fix it for whatever the deductible is.
Fourth, Call Volvo customer relations and tell them about your issue.
